We are pleased to announce that Neotech Metals has awarded ANZAPLAN a major metallurgical process development program for the Hecla-Kilmer Rare Earth Project in Ontario, Canada. The project is focused on the development of a rare earth processing flowsheet for an apatite-hosted deposit with a high proportion of magnet rare earth elements that are critical for electrification and advanced technologies.
What makes this collaboration particularly exciting is that a Canadian rare earth project will be advanced through metallurgical and process development work performed at our facilities in Germany. Leveraging ANZAPLAN's extensive expertise in rare earths and critical raw materials, the program will support the next stage of project development and help establish the technical foundation for future economic studies.
As Neotech highlighted, previous testwork has already demonstrated promising processing characteristics, providing a strong basis for further optimization and development.
