Euro Lithium is developing the Valjevo Li-B project. The Valjevo deposit represents a significant lithium‐borate mineral deposit situated approximately 15 km outside the city of Valjevo, Serbia.
ANZAPLAN has been requested to conduct a bench-scale test work program to confirm and optimize eco-smart boron extraction conditions determined in previous metallurgical test work with a new composite sample. The boron extraction test work is followed by lithium extraction test work from the boron leach residue and concentration and purification of the PLS targeting a battery grade lithium carbonate product.
An important condition to the lithium test work is to consider environmental performance metrics and ensure that best-in-class technology is thoroughly evaluated. Euro Lithium has also requested that ANZAPLAN consider new, innovative approaches to lithium extraction in case there is an opportunity for higher environmental performance.
