Evion Group (ASX: EVG) plans to establish a world-scale graphite mine at Maniry, it completed a Definitive Feasibility Study last year (release dated November 3, 2022).
It is proposed that graphite concentrate from Evion’s Maniry Project will feed a BAM facility, providing a market for a substantial portion of Evion’s proposed production.
ANZAPLAN has supported Evion with purification test work on flake graphite concentrate material from Evion’s Maniry project in Madagascar which demonstrated that the material can be upgraded to battery grade.
Comparing the different purification processes on an economic basis, ANZAPLAN has identified a process that presents significant cost saving potential with Evion’s graphite.
