ANZAPLAN was appointed by CarbonScape Limited (CarbonScape) based in Blenheim, New Zealand to carry out biographite purification test work.
CarbonScape has developed a technology capable of converting timber and forestry byproducts into biographite within hours with a net carbon negative footprint and is compatible with multiple renewable biomass feed-stocks.
ANZAPLAN has developed an environmentally sound purification process for CarbonScape’s biographite capable of upgrading its material to finally meet the stringent chemical battery grade specifications.
ANZAPLAN continues to support the project by refining the process and performing a detailed test work program including locked cycle test work which will be followed by a piloting and the related engineering work.
