Prefeasibility Study

The prefeasibility study is the first step towards the mineral reserve estimate. Here, studies of quality variation within the deposit and mineral processing routes are performed alongside a first consideration of potential markets.

ANZAPLAN specializes in prefeasibility studies for speciality industrial mineral projects. Based on a preliminary assessment, representative samples are taken for processing tests at our technical center. Using the unique combination of certified analytical and engineering services, ANZAPLAN provides a comprehensive range of test work which is needed to evaluate the potential of a raw material to be processed into high-value product.

Considering cost estimates for each processing step, the prefeasibility study will indicate the range of products which may be economically feasible from the different raw material qualities. During the prefeasibility study the first concept for the main processing steps is derived which provides the basis for the ensuing feasibility study.
